Welcome to goldentourscorfu.gr (the “Website”), operated by Golden Tours E.E. (“Golden Tours,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a tourism company based in Corfu, Greece. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Website and your booking of any boat tours, boat rentals, bus tours, water park experiences, or other services (collectively, the “Services”) offered by Golden Tours. By browsing the Website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2.1 Bookings may be made through the Website, our booking partner (Bokun), by email, phone, or in person, and are subject to availability.
2.2 A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation (email or booking voucher) from Golden Tours or our booking platform.
2.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking (names, number of participants, contact details, pickup location, special requirements) is accurate and complete.
2.4 Some excursions may have minimum age, health, or fitness requirements. It is your responsibility to check these before booking and to inform us of any relevant medical conditions, disabilities, or mobility issues in advance.
2.5 Golden Tours reserves the right to refuse a booking or the right to participate in a tour, at its sole discretion, where safety concerns exist (e.g., intoxication, non-compliance with safety instructions, unfit for the activity).
3.1 All prices displayed on the Website are in Euros (€) and include applicable Greek VAT unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, with the balance (if any) payable before or on the day of the activity, as specified at checkout.
3.3 Payments are processed securely via our third-party booking and payment providers. Golden Tours does not store your full payment card details.
3.4 Prices are subject to change without notice; however, the price confirmed at the time of your booking will be honored.
4.1 Cancellation by the customer:
The maximum amount refundable under any circumstances is 50% of the total price paid.
If the client has already taken part in the excursion, no refund will be issued, regardless of the circumstances.
4.2 Cancellation or amendment by Golden Tours: We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify an excursion due to adverse weather conditions, insufficient participant numbers, mechanical issues, port authority restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure”). In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date, a credit voucher, or a full refund, at your choice.
4.3 Weather-related and Port Authority decisions (e.g., gale-force wind warnings, closure of the port by the Corfu Port Authority) are outside our control, and no compensation beyond a refund or rescheduling will be provided.
4.4 Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
4.5 The client has the right to inspect the vessel/facilities before departure and to raise any concerns or objections at that time. As a general rule, no refund will be issued for dissatisfaction with the condition of the boat or facilities. However, if the client raises an objection in writing before departure, the matter will be discussed with the captain, and it shall be at the captain’s sole discretion whether any refund amount is granted. Complaints raised after departure will not entitle the client to a refund or compensation.
5.1 Participants must comply with all safety instructions given by our skippers, guides, and drivers at all times, including but not limited to the use of life jackets, seating arrangements, and boarding/disembarking procedures.
5.2 Golden Tours reserves the right to remove any participant from an excursion, without refund, if their behavior endangers themselves, other guests, staff, or the vessel/vehicle.
5.3 Guests participating in boat trips, water activities, or boat rentals do so at their own risk. Pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, recent surgery, or other relevant medical conditions should consult a doctor before participating and must inform us in advance.
5.4 For self-drive boat rentals, an additional Boat Rental Agreement and safety briefing (covering safe navigation zones, anchoring, fuel procedures, and speed limits) applies and must be acknowledged before departure.
5.5 Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and may be subject to minimum age or size requirements for certain activities (e.g., water park, specific boat trips).
6.1 Golden Tours maintains applicable liability insurance for its licensed activities in accordance with Greek law.
6.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golden Tours shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss/damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our proven negligence.
6.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Greek law.
6.4 Golden Tours is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or services of independent third parties (e.g., partner restaurants, transfer companies, other tour operators) recommended or arranged on your behalf, unless expressly stated.
By participating in our tours, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes (Website, social media, marketing materials), unless you notify our staff in writing prior to the activity that you do not wish to be included.
All content on this Website — including text, images, logos, itineraries, and graphics — is the property of Golden Tours E.E. or its licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
Golden Tours processes personal data (name, contact details, booking information) in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Greek law, solely for the purposes of managing your booking, providing our Services, and — where consented — marketing communications. Bookings made through third-party platforms (e.g., Bokun, Viator, GetYourGuide, ClicknBoat) are also subject to the respective platform’s own terms and conditions, in addition to these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Corfu, Greece.
Golden Tours reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version published on the Website at the time of your booking shall apply.
